10God’s purpose in all this was to use the church to display his wisdom in its rich variety to all the unseen rulers and authorities in the heavenly places. 11This was his eternal plan, which he carried out through Christ Jesus our Lord.
12Because of Christ and our faith in him,d we can now come boldly and confidently into God’s presence. 13So please don’t lose heart because of my trials here. I am suffering for you, so you should feel honored.
Do you ever really feel like you can walk BOLDLY AND CONFIDENTLY into God’s presence?
If not, why not? What keeps us from doing exactly what the Bible says we can and should do?
Most people say their sinfulness keeps them from this, should it?
What would boldly spending time in the presence of God change about our sinfulness?
If all this is really possible with God, what does it say about his nature and what he desires from us?
