I can do something to give me glory, or I can do something to give God glory, but I can’t do both.  I know I need to guard against this sometimes.  It is so easy to want the spotlight.  I’m actually accused of wanting the spotlight just for having this website.  It is a tricky thing sometimes.  But the longer I walk with Jesus, the more natural this becomes,  to want to help and want to give, but not want anyone to know.  It is actually very freeing when you stop caring about credit and blame.  My private prayer journal has a quote on the first page that seems right here:
