38One day some teachers of religious law and Pharisees came to Jesus and said, “Teacher, we want you to show us a miraculous dsign to prove your authority.”
33“A tree is identified by its fruit. If a tree is good, its fruit will be good. If a tree is bad, its fruit will be bad.34You brood of snakes! How could evil men like you speak what is good and right? For whatever is in your heart determines what you say.35A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and 
28Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.29Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls.30For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”
20Then Jesus began to denounce the towns where he had done so many of his miracles, because they hadn’t repented of their sins and turned to God.21“What sorrow awaits you, Korazin and Bethsaida! For if the miracles I did in you had been done in wicked Tyre and Sidon, their people would have repented of their sins long ago, clothing themselves in burlap and throwing ashes on

16“Look, I am sending you out as sheep among wolves. So be as shrewd as snakes and harmless as doves.17But beware! For you will be handed over to the courts and will be flogged with whips in the synagogues.18You will stand trial before governors and kings because you are my followers. But this will be your opportunity to tell the rulers and other unbelievers about 
9“Don’t take any money in your money belts—no gold, silver, or even copper coins.10Don’t carry a traveler’s bag with a change of clothes and sandals or even a walking stick. Don’t hesitate to accept hospitality, because those who work deserve to be fed.
1Jesus climbed into a boat and went back across the lake to his own town.2Some people brought to him a paralyzed man on a mat. Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralyzed man, “Be encouraged, my child! Your sins are forgiven.”
28When Jesus arrived on the other side of the lake, in the region of the Gadarenes, two men who were possessed by demons met him. They lived in a cemetery and were so violent that no one could go through that area.
18When Jesus saw the crowd around him, he instructed his disciples to cross to the other side of the lake.
