Something you can't forget about

Romans 13: 8-10

Thomas Less, July 23, 2010

8Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for he who loves his fellowman has fulfilled the law. 9The commandments, “Do not commit adultery,” “Do not murder,” “Do not steal,” “Do not covet,”a and whatever other commandment there may be, are summed up in this one rule: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”b 10Love does no harm to its neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

Lord, it does really all come down to love.  It is so easy to say and so hard to really do.  How often have I not been concerned about myself instead of my neighbor, my wife, my children?  And “let no debt remain outstanding” , my first thought was money, and that is real, but the bigger debts are harder to right off.  No grudges, no malice, no anger toward others.  Only love.  Change me Lord.  Change me into someone who just loves everyone with Your love.  Make me selfless so I can be like You. *Romans13*
