13For we do not write you anything you cannot read or understand. And I hope that, 14as you have understood us in part, you will come to understand fully that you can boast of us just as we will boast of you in the day of the Lord Jesus.
Jesus, Paul has written so much of the New Testament, and sometimes, it does seem hard to understand. Yet, through Paul You clearly tell us we can understand all of it. Open my eyes, and ears, and heart Holy Spirit. Help me to understand fully. And Lord, Paul longs to completely understand the Corinthians and to be completely understood by them. That is an amazing unity, and yet it will surely someday happen. Again Holy Spirit, help me and my wife find that unity. Help me find that unity with You. Help me find that unity with all my Christian brothers and sisters. Open my mind, and eyes and heart to all those around and help them open up to me. Change me Holy Spirit, change me. *2Corinthians1*
