8We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; 9persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.
Lord, I do feel pressedand perplexed right now, and all of my own doing. I know I could be crushed into despair if it were not for You. I keep making choices that are not Yours, and You keep rescuing me. I feel like a wounded soldier still on the battle field. Lord, use my wounds to grow me and keep me and make me stronger. Just as a wounded animal can be the most dangerous because he knows he has nothing to lose and must fight for his life, make me vicious toward sin and Satan. Help me focus on You and Your strength and be refreshed and invigorated for the battle. *2Corinthians4*
