9So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it. 10For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.
Jesus, this is a bit of a scary verse. I suppose it should be. I do not want to be judged on my own works for they are not good. We both know that. I know that my only hope to please You in this body is if I do Your will, whatever that is. I know I have not been single-hearted toward You always. Change me Lord. Let my dedication be complete toward You. Holy Spirit, please guide me and empower me to do Your will. It is time to become a brightly burning torch for You Jesus. Change me. *2Corinthians5*
