Something you can't forget about

2 Corinthians 6: 14-18

Thomas Less, October 26, 2010

14Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? 15What harmony is there between Christ and Belialb? What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? 16What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.”c

17“Therefore come out from them and be separate, says the Lord.
Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.”d
18“I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters,
says the Lord Almighty.”

Lord, You are so right, and this is such a clear warning.  Lately at work I keep stumbling into business deals and later find out the organizations are Christian, or led by Christians.  None of them perfect, but then I am not either.  You have led me to the greatest Christian friends and they have helped me so much.  Your advice is so wise.  Lord, please guide my children to become believers and marry believers.  Help me to continue to seek Christian business partners and Christian friends.  And Lord, when I am with these people, help me to pray, so that we publicly acknowledge You in our midst. *2Corinthians6*
