10Carefully determine what pleases the Lord.
Such a short but powerful verse. We are commanded to spend time carefully considering what pleases Jesus. This done through prayer and study of the Bible – and then applying that to our life!
11Take no part in the worthless deeds of evil and darkness; instead, expose them. 12It is shameful even to talk about the things that ungodly people do in secret. 13But their evil intentions will be exposed when the light shines on them, 14for the light makes everything visible. This is why it is said,
“Awake, O sleeper,
rise up from the dead,
and Christ will give you light.”
Living by the Spirit’s Power
15So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. 16Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days. 17Don’t act thoughtlessly, but understand what the Lord wants you to do. 18Don’t be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit,19singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, and making music to the Lord in your hearts. 20And give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Have you been thoughtfully planning your days and life with Jesus in mind, or have you just been letting your life happen all around you?
Have you daily choices and your daily actions been things that make Jesus smile…or Satan smile?
Do you believe the small things matter?
Yes, I do believe small things do matter. All the goodness and love I spread each day on my walk, brings joy to God. I have jus started this site with you and I look forward to this journey with you and others.
