To the church of God in Corinth, together with all the saints throughout Achaia:
2Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Father, You are the only source of grace and true peace. I can spend my time looking for help from friends and family, but it is futile. I try to achieve security in my investments and business, but they always just add to my worries. But Your help, Your grace, You simply give to me, a pure gift I could never deserve. And Your peace, that calm in the storm, that settled rest, that quietness, could never be found in this world. I have only ever known it when my heart was set on You. Father, help me to know for sure that this world cannot give me peace at all. Help me to turn my heart to You and receive Your gifts and to know Your peace in my day-to-day life.
