3Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.
Jesus, again it seems I should thank-you for my problems and troubles. It sounds like You are saying that the we suffer, the more we will know Your compassion and comfort, and the better we will be able to share Your compassion and comfort with others. Lord, I want to draw others to You, especially my family. Yet I so often fail in the midst of my troubles. Jesus help me turn to You and receive Your compassion and comfort. Help me be closer to You through my trials. It is hard to say but I know it is true: Thank-You for my trials, troubles, and sufferings. *2Corinthians1*
