10We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. 11For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that his life may be revealed in our mortal body. 12So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you.
It appears Jesus that You are telling me that I need to die more and more as life goes on to myself and my wants, and this life in general, so that I can live Your life more and more. Perhaps our earthly life is like a bucket and there is only room for so much. If I want more of Your life, and need to put aside more and more of mine. My simple mind makes such poor analogies! Jesus, help me to die so I can live. I know Your life is so much better than mine, but I foolishly hold on to my ways, my wants, my thoughts, my stuff. It is all a pile of rubbish. Help me Lord to see its true value, throw it all aside, and live only for You. *2Corinthians4*
