This is seriously one of the most difficult questions in all of Christianity. We have narrowed it here to natural disasters because a discussion of suffering caused by humanity is related, but possibly very different. So take a look at the suffering children. Try to internalize their pain. Then lets discuss this.
If I Were God: I WOULD / WOULD NOT allow, or even create, disasters like hurricanes, earthquakes even though they cause immense suffering.
