It's Obvious

Ok, I'm going to just say.  Not to offend, or draw a line in the sand, or look like a know-it-all.  But I'll say it, just to inspire conversation.

It's obvious, it really is.  The existence of God is overwhelmingly obvious.  I'll even go a step further and say that the identity of God is the Christian God of the Bible, and that's obvious too.

The truly unfortunate thing is, if you don't already realize this, its likely because you refuse to realize it, and you're probably going to stop reading abour right now.  But if you're open-minded enough to consider the possibility of God...

Why You Should Keep Reading

If you’re still reading, and you don’t find the existence of God to be obvrous…welcom.  And I mean that in the sincerest of ways.  You will find tolerance, sincerity and honest here and you truly are welcome…well so long as you are tolerant, sincere and honest.

You see, I want to argue, but I don’t want to fight.  I want to give anyone who is curious a chance to see inside my brain and understand why I think what I think and believe what I believe.  And I truly want to be challenged.  I’m not afraid of ideas and I’m not afraid to be wrong.  I sell insurance for a living, so I’m not easily offended either.  Your questions and comments are safe here, as long as you are honest and respectful.

My intention is to present a series of post, going through many subjects, that explain why I find the existence of God to be so obvious.  I hope you will read them in order, like a book, because they will build on each other, at least at first.  And why should you read this?  Because you sincerely want to understand why I think this.  When I decided to seriously investigate atheism, I primarily wanted to understand why atheist thought what they thought.  I found very, very few people, whether atheist or Christian, who were interested in understanding what the other person was thinking.  What I found, was almost everyone just wanted to win a fight.

So here I am, this is what I think, and why.  If you care, read on, subscribe (upper right), and come back.  If you don’t care, move on.  I expect a very small audience.

What Will It Take From You?

That’s right, to understand why I think what I think, will require something from you.  There are no free lunches.  Below are a series of post on just what it will take.  If you aren’t afraid of the work (reading & thinking), I bet you will find this worth your while.

God Loves Science, And Science Loves God

Contrary to what many people think, science and God go beautifully together. Scientists may not like God much, but that is simply because they are human and humans, as a whole, want to be the captains of their own ships.  Humans don’t really like God much. As a matter of fact, I confidently believe that:

In every field of scientific study, if a person is knowledgeable, willing to be truly logical, has the courage to follow the truth wherever it leads, and willing consider the possibility of God with a truly open mind, they will conclude that there is no scientific possibility other than that God exist and created the universe with humanity in mind. The person studying the sciences need not have any prior knowledge of God or religion. They only need to not start from a position of hatred for him or unwillingness to acknowledge him.
