11Just see what this godly sorrow produced in you! Such earnestness, such concern to clear yourselves, such indignation, such alarm, such longing to see me, such zeal, and such a readiness to punish wrong. You showed that you have done everything necessary to make things right. 12My purpose, then, was not to write about who did the wrong or who was wronged. I wrote to you so that in the sight of God you could see for yourselves how loyal you are to us.
How loyal am I to You Jesus? What does Your Word produce in me? Wake me and shake me Lord. Sound the alarm and stir in me earnestness and zeal and a readiness to punish wrong. Show me how I look in Your eyes Lord. Please Lord, change me. I know tests are coming. I have struck out on a new road and I am afraid, and yet secure. I need to be pure and faithful.
